Do you sometimes feel like a gerbil on a spinning wheel – working hard every day, yet getting nowhere? I sure do. I like the business that I run and what I do to make it work. In terms of performance results, however, I’ve been less than happy with myself.
I know what I am doing and, far more importantly, why I’m doing it. So, I keep going, day in and day out. Then, one day, as if a sign from above, I came upon the following quote from Winston Churchill:
“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”
His words went straight to my soul and, instantly, I broke down… At that moment, I realized just how much pressure I’ve been putting on myself – to succeed. His words of wisdom gave me the courage to continue.
Sir Winston Churchill, thank you!
