Have you ever wondered why the Left is pushing to erase history? Or twist it? I ask because I simply don’t understand it. It is as if those on the Left think that by “erasing” or “twisting” facts, we can somehow become a “perfect” society. Such a line of thinking may make sense to a two-year-old. For the rest of us, who understand that no human being is perfect, the question is, “Why would anyone want to destroy historical facts – of both mistakes and progress made – from which we can all continue to learn to make even more progress for humanity?” In fact, the foundation of the U.S.A. was built on everything that Christians have learned about human nature over the centuries.
Oh, wait! The Left, which does not believe in religion, cannot stand the historical fact that our country was built on the Christian faith. The Left, therefore, wants to erase our history, erase how the country was built, erase the goodwill of the Founding Fathers who, by the way, were all white males, and erase the fact that it was faith that united the Founding Fathers, each of whom had strong and independent opinions of his own.
The Left must want to create a world that aligns with its own specific agenda – which is likely to be an absolute control over the masses (George Orwell’s “1984” comes to mind) – by destroying historical evidence. By the time new generations of children grow up, few will have the ability to question how U.S. society has become just like in “1984.” Only some older, dying breed will remember, as in the words of the 40th President of the U.S.A., Ronald Reagan, “what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
Based on what had happened to humanity the last time a similar attempt was made by a government, I see on the horizon an eventual mass murder to be carried out by the Left in the U.S.A. If you think I’m exaggerating, think again.
What I am about to write may come as a complete surprise to you. Several years ago, I was appalled to find out that many of today’s young people think of Mao Zedong, Che Guevara, and Fidel Castro – all communists – as heroes. Some of the youngsters proudly wear t-shirts with one of these men’s faces printed on them. Are you kidding me? What are they teaching in schools in the U.S.A.? These men are no heroes but murderers. An estimated range of those killed by each is as follows:
- Mao Zedong: 45 million to 65 million
- Che Guevara: 180 to 14,000
- Fidel Castro: 10,000 to 100,000
Among them, the scale of atrocities committed by Mao Zedong against the country’s own citizenry is off the chart. Believe it or not, the total number of those killed during Mao’s reign far exceeds that of Adolf Hitler during World War II. Why are the schools not teaching these facts? Could it be that teachers’ unions, which support the Left, and vice versa, have no interest in educating our youngsters with certain historical facts?
What follows are the parallels between what has been happening in the U.S.A. for the last decade or so and what had happened in China. While the severity may not yet be as potent, the similarity of the tactics used is striking. And scary.
Starting in 1966, during the Cultural Revolution under Mao’s leadership, China became intent on destroying the Four Olds: old customs, old culture, old habits, and old ideas. In other words, the society as they knew it to have existed had to be denied and destroyed. Change the word, “old,” to “conservative.” Voilà! Do you see what has been happening in the U.S.A. lately?
During the Cultural Revolution in China, Mao and the Gang of Four (made up of Mao’s wife, Jiang Qing, and three others) controlled everything in China. They did so by taking control of both media and state power. Are you starting to see the parallels? The media is working for and with the Left, the Democrats.
The Red Guards, who were students, became Mao’s “soldiers” of the Cultural Revolution. Here are four main parallels between the events in China, half a century ago, and in America, today:
- The Red Guards’ parents had to be shocked to find out that their own children became radical and violent soldiers.
- Many were killed by their own children. When brainwashed, like these Red Guards, people lose their ability to think rationally for themselves and end up doing things that they regret years later.
- By the way, to our dismay, many of us in the U.S.A. are finally beginning to realize that most students from first grade through college have been brainwashed by the Left.
- As parents, we worked for years to earn enough money so that we could send our children to a good school. We are shocked, dismayed, and angry at the scale of manipulation of our own (now adult) children’s minds.
- In essence, the Left hijacked them for its own purpose without parental consent. This is THE crime of the century.
- The Red Guards vandalized bookstores, libraries, churches, temples, private homes, and monuments.
- In many cities in the U.S.A., radical-Left rioters have been tearing down historical statues, vandalizing churches, temples, monuments, private properties, and businesses.
- Such acts, by the way, are in violation of our Fourth Amendment rights. In my humble opinion, anyone who violates any one of the Bill of Rights of U.S. citizens must be put in jail for 50 years, with a fine of a minimum of $1,000,000. No exceptions. Sounds harsh? Well, they can be reminded of what happens next if they dare. The first ones to violate the rules will have to become examples for the rest.
- The Red Guards censored speech – heavily. Those accused of not being politically correct were punished or, worse, killed.
- Today, something similar is happening in the U.S.A. in the form of what has become known as “cancel culture.” Who could have imagined that our First Amendment rights would ever be so brazenly threatened? But here we are…
- And half the U.S. population still wonders why Donald J. Trump was elected President in 2016.
- The Red Guards not only destroyed a lot of historical artifacts but tried to erase and/or revise history as well.
- In the U.S.A., some on the Left are pushing to revise the founding history of our nation, claiming that its birth was not in 1776 but in 1619. Excuse me?
- The Leftist Democrats are pushing to pack the Supreme Court (i.e., increase the number of Left-leaning justices) so that they can accomplish their agenda with little dissension when disputes reach the highest court in the nation.
Upon the death of Mao in 1976, the Red Guards’ murderous rampage finally came to an end. I wonder what it would take to put a stop to the madness that has been the Left’s criminal manipulation of our children to “fundamentally transform America,” away from our founding principles. They are actively seeking to deprive future Americans of the gift of freedom, for which over a million soldiers have died since the nation’s birth on Fourth of July, 1776. Wake up, America, before it’s too late!
