If you hate America, then leave!

Only in the last decade or so did I begin noticing the rapid deterioration in the social fabric of my beloved country. Instead of love and compassion for which it was known – at least to me as I dreamed of eventually coming to America – many of today’s young American adults and children “hate” America. They are focused on denying and destroying everything that made this great country the envy of the world. Their disrespectful actions are the hallmark of Marxism.

What I did not realize until recently was that the movement toward the Left, with Marxist ideology, has been going on since the time of Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President from 1913 to 1921. In other words, what has finally become obvious to many of us in recent years turns out to be only the tip of the iceberg of a much deeper-rooted movement away from the Constitution of the United States of America. Who could have foreseen that not everyone appreciates individual freedom?

Yet here we are. How could this be? Here is my humble opinion. Whether at home or in society at large, those who have never experienced tyranny have no clue what it is like to be oppressed and/or tortured. Freedom is like air; something that can be appreciated only when it is taken away by other human beings. Come to think of it, if my childhood were devoid of the evil that I had witnessed, I probably would never have thought to sever myself from that environment.

Also, if you grow up in a society where individual freedom is a given, you have no basis to appreciate how it has come to be – with sacrifices made in human blood – unless the rest of society consciously reminds you of this historical fact. Lack of such reminders is potentially a fatal flaw of America, a republic headed for a disaster. Hindsight is 20/20. Such tumult was brought on by us, the baby-boomer generation, including myself, who took it for granted that everyone understood the importance of individual freedom simply by being an American. President Reagan’s one-minute speech is prophetic of what has become of our society today.

As a proud American by choice, I do have a question intended for those of you who have been indoctrinated in schools and universities in the Marxist agenda. You may or may not be familiar with the term, Marxism. Regardless, if you do not think that you are one of them, here is how you can find out for sure. If you hate your own country, the U.S.A., that is a clue that you have been brainwashed to support Marxism. Study the history of all Marxist countries and find out why people defect from there: Cuba (in the news lately with the citizens protesting against their government), Russia, People’s Republic of China, Venezuela, North Korea, etc., etc.

With the way things are changing at an accelerated pace toward Marxism in the U.S.A., where else could people in distressful situations go to escape from tyranny in their own country? What other country is large enough and gracious enough to accommodate those who need to escape from wherever they are now?

Those of us who have personally experienced tyranny – whether at home, society at large, or both – invariably conclude and value individual freedom above all else in our human existence. Freedom was all I ever wanted. America was the country that gave me what I desperately needed – to keep my sanity. I am forever grateful, therefore, for the sacrifices made by those who fought so that I could have a chance at a “normal” life.

The Founding Fathers lived under the tyranny of King George III of England. Such oppression is what triggered the American movement toward independence from England. Out of such misery and hardship, caused by other human beings, came…

If you disagree with what you just read and still hate America, then leave. Go find yourself a country that you can love and be at peace with yourself.
