Spring has sprung!

Within the last few days, it seems as if winter was replaced by summer, skipping spring completely. As I write this blog at midday, the outside temperature is already 72 degrees Fahrenheit. The bare trees are rapidly becoming filled with fresh, light-green, baby leaves. Seemingly overnight, the grass has turned deep, velvety green. It is like a magic wand made the changes come about all at once everywhere. Nature is amazing!

I take delight in knowing that I’ve been given a chance to experience and be a part of it – just like all other creatures on Earth. Whether there is or isn’t any meaning beyond the actual existence of us all, life has been good to me, especially since I met David over half a century ago.

This morning, I woke up from a dream in which I was opening shades in a house, letting the natural light fill each room. The house seemed like a mixture of our current home and another one that I did not recognize. Regardless, it was quite peaceful.

A random thought: One of the best lessons I have learned over the years is to steer clear of those who give off toxic vibes. Life is too short to ruin your one and only chance at it.

Enjoy the warmer weather!
